Prayer: Day 18:

John 15:7  If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

Prayer that brings results must be based on God’s word.  Arm yourself with scripture.  God always remembers what He says.  He responds favorably to you when you remember what He says.

When you approach God He wants you to remind Him of His promises to you.  God already knows everything about you when you pray.  Be direct.  Be honest, He rewards integrity.

Start with the answer which is the Word.  Don’t pray the problem.  Begin the application of Faith.  Expect an answer.  Faith is confidence in God.  Faith comes when God talks.  It may be through a ministry, the Holy Spirit, or His Word.  Expectation is the invisible current that sweeps miracles into your life.  When you get into the presence of God, something happens that does not happen anywhere else.

Confession:

I will fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the Throne of Grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to sinners), and find Grace to help in good times for every need (appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when I need it).

Hebrews 4:16  Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
