Prayer: Day 21:

Repentance:

Proverbs 28:13  He who covers his sins will not prosper,  But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.

1 John 1:8-9: if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  9.  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Repent quickly.  Your mistakes and sins have not shocked God.  He anticipated your need for mercy.  The master key to recovery is repentance.

Don’t justify yourself.  Quit blaming others for the decisions you have made. Repent Immediately.  Just as the above verses state when we do repent  and

Confess, we will receive forgiveness and mercy. We are cleaned of unrighteousness.

1 Chronicles 16:34: Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

God is everlasting and His mercy and goodness is forever. Don’t ever think you have done something that cannot be forgiven. Nothing takes God by surprise and He has already forgiven you, and all you have to do is ask.

Confession:

Lord Jesus I repent of the sins I committed.  I want you to have Your way in every area of my life.  I want you to have Your say in every area of my life, in the books I read, in the company I keep, in the amusements I enjoy, in my companions, in my marriage, in my home, in my finances and in the way I spend my time.  Lord Jesus, You are the Lord of my life.  I allow your Word to dominate me.  I allow your Word to have dominion over me.  Therefore, you are Lording it over me.  You are dominating me.  You are Lord of my life!  I shall never hunger.  I believe on Jesus.  Therefore, I shall never thirst.  I am related to God.  He is my Father.  I have fellowship with Him.  My heart is satisfied.
