God’s Reality or The World’s Reality?

2 Peter 1:2-4:Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

God promises us that through His divine power, He will give us all things that pertain to life and godliness, and that we have been given exceedingly great and precious promises by God through our faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. God’s will is for us to inherit the promises, promises of redemption, eternal life , health , our needs met, peace and joy. This is our hope as a believer. We hear and believe the Word and we either accept it or reject it. It is our choice. But oh, how God the Father, longs for us to accept and dwell in His Word and promises. God loves us, He wants nothing but good for us. He wants us to accept His promises, His will for our lives and live in it daily, live in it completely.

Ephesians 2:11-12:Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been made near by the blood of Christ.

People who have not accepted Christ, who do not know Him as their personal savior have no hope. You must know God and have that relationship with Christ to have true hope in you life. Hope means a wish or desire accompanied by a confident expectation of its fulfillment. Our hope in Christ is the confident expectation of Him meeting all our needs, spiritual and physical. The wonderful thing is - He does!

Romans 5:1-5: Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

God is a God of Hope and once we have been justified by faith, That hope is ours! And it does not disappoint. Once we accept Jesus, we are heirs to the exceeding great promises we talked about in the previous verses.

John 17:17: Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.

God’s Word is truth, absolutely and completely. Truth is the highest form of reality. What is happening today in the world or in your life specifically, whether it is unemployment, divorce, financial problems or a loved one going to war, that is a reality. These are real events in your life, but they are not the ultimate reality. The ultimate reality is what God’s Word says about your situation.

You may have bills due, or be without a job. God’s Word has promises for you!

3 John: 2: Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Psalms 84:11-12: For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, Blessed is the man who trusts in You!

Psalms 34:9: Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.

You may be facing divorce. You can’t change the heart of another, only God can. You need to be sure that you are submitted to God and that your heart, attitude and actions are pleasing to God. Everything we do should glorify God the Father!

Psalms 16:7-9: I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope.

John 14:13-15: And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. If you love Me, keep My commandments.

God promises that we can be at peace and not live in fear. Fear of failure, financial loss, job loss, death, fear of the unknown. These are all real, but they are not the end for the believer.

Romans 5:1: Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,"

John 16:33: These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippins 4:7-8: Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy meditate on these things.

Think about, meditate on, dwell on what God says in His Word, not what your friends say, the people at work say, or what the news says. Learn what God says and believe it! The scriptures we just read are God’s Truth. The things we see and experience in the world are real, but they are subject to change, God never changes! (Malachi 3:6)

.

2 Corinthians 4:18: "while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Rom.4:17: (as it is written, "I have made you a father of many nations) in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

Don’t be limited by what the world tells you is reality. Stand in the truth and integrity of God’s Word! Your life will change once you accept that you have a covenant agreement with the Almighty God, signed with the Blood of Jesus as the Guarantee and Surety! Get this into your spirit, meditate on it. You are entitled to the promises of God as a believer and God wants to meet your needs!

If you have a problem, go to the Word of God and find out what God the Father says about it. God is faithful and true to meet all your needs.

2 Cor.1:20: For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

Then take your need to God in prayer, remind Him of His promise to you as a believer and ask Him to meet your need!

Isaiah 43:26: Put Me in remembrance; let us contend together; state your case, that you may be acquitted.

Pray, expecting God to answer, expect to receive your answer.

Mark 11:24: Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

When you do these things, God will be faithful to hear and answer your prayers!

But He said, "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. Luke 18:27

1 John 3:22: And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight

1 John 5:14-15: Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Not accepting what you see and experience as the ultimate reality, but believing what God says is reality, is what will change your situation. What we see with our senses is temporary, and can be changed!

2 Corinthians 4:18: while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

What changes is your hope, faith and expectation produced in your spirit by the Eternal Word of God!

When you read, study and meditate on God’s Word, get it into your spirit as a reality, then God will change things in your life. Believe it, expect to receive it. While you are expecting the answer, don’t magnify the problem, magnify God’s answer and it will come to pass!

If you do not know Jesus as your personal Savior, I urge you to accept Him now. Pray the following prayer and come to Jesus.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to you in the name of Jesus.

Your word says, "…and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out." (Jn.6:37),

So I know You won’t cast me out, but You take me in,

And I thank you for it.

You said in your Word, "whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.'' (Ro. 10:13).

I am calling on Your name, So I know You have saved me now,

You also said, "…that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. " (Ro.10:9,10).

I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

I believe He was raised from the dead for my justification.

And I confess Him now as my Lord,

Because Your Word says, "… with the heart one believes to righteousness…" and I do believe with my heart,

I have now become the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Cor. 5:21),

And I am saved! Thank You, Lord!

Confession of God’s Reality in Your Life

I am a born again, believer. I am a Child of God and Joint Heir with Jesus.

I am an inheritor of the great and precious promises of God.

Satan, you have no hold on me. The things of this world are temporary and not eternal.

The things of this world are subject to change according to the Word of God.

I will learn the Promises of God from His Word and meditate on them daily.

I believe the Promises of God.

I pray the Promises of God.

The Promises of God will come to pass in my life, God has said it and He does not change.

I will magnify God’s promises in my life and not my problems.

God’s Word in the Ultimate Reality in my life.

Satan, I tell you now, you are not the victor in this situation, God has promised to meet all my needs and I believe God and expect Him to meet my needs. You are a defeated foe, You have to leave me s now in Jesus’ Name. Praise God! He is faithful and just and my needs are met!!! Thank You, Father!
