Lordship: Day 10:
Acts 17:28a: "for in Him we live and move and have our being,..
2 Corinthians 5:21: For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Once we confess Jesus as Lord we can begin to understand what He did for us on the cross. Jesus became sin for us, so that we could be come the righteousness of God in Him. We are now in “right standing” with God. Nothing separates us from His presence. We can now enter boldly into God’s presence and commune with Him whenever we want or need.
It is now, In Christ that we have our being. Everything we do, say, think, or feel should be for the glory of God. That is why it is so important to yield to the inner man in all things and not to the flesh. Our inner man is born again in the image of Christ. We have the choice to follow the leading of the inner man or the fleshly man, when we lead our daily lives. Every step we take should be directed by God. We should be so in tuned to the Holy Spirit that we can tell immediately when we are out of line. Think what a witness you will be for The Lord Jesus Christ, if everything you do, say or think glorifies Him! On the job, at home, in traffic, shopping, dealing with bill collectors, school teachers or even traffic cops, everything we do should glorify God!
Confession: In Christ I live and move and have my being. I now have a vast storehouse of power available to me. I have God’s strength, wisdom and love available to me in unlimited amounts. I live in the presence of God because I am now the righteousness of God in Christ. I am not my own, I belong to God and it is through Him I live, move and have my being.
