Lordship: Day 15

 

1 John 4:4: You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

 

We read and hear this Scripture quoted over and over again in churches.  Why is that?  Because it is one of the basic keys to victory in Christ.

 

John 10:10: "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

 

Everything you are and will be Satan wants to destroy!  Think about it, if the enemy can keep you broke, sick, worried and depressed then you will not have time to do anything for God.  That is the enemy’s  purpose in this world, to kill or destroy you or your witness. It can be a blatant all out attack or subtle small ones that creep up on you over time. The next thing you know you are so downtrodden, down in the mouth and depressed that you are completely surrounded by darkness.  This is not of God, my brothers and sisters.

 

Romans 8:37: Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

 

Remember who you are in Christ and walk in that reality. You are who God says you are and nothing less!  You are healed, out of debt, employed. Your children are saved and serving the Lord. Nothing will by any means harm you!  Do not accept the lies of the enemy.  Accept only what God says is true!

 

Confession:  Jesus in me is greater that Satan!  I am more than a conqueror!  I am victorious!  I triumph over debt, cancer, diabetes, or whatever the enemy throws at me! I am not my own, I live to Christ and in Christ!  This makes me more than a conqueror. It makes me a victor!

I know who I am in Christ and I walk in that knowledge everyday. Satan is a defeated foe and cannot touch me. Jesus is greater in me!
