Lordship: Day 15:

2 Timothy 2:15: Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

As we spend time studying about discipleship, prayer, stewardship and who we are in Christ, let’s realize that we have only begun to touch on theses subjects.  It is up to each one of us to be diligent and present ourselves to God as a worthy worker who rightly divides the Word of Truth.  We cannot stress the importance of daily in depth study of God’s Word, meditation on God’s Word, willing obedience and the importance of time spent in prayer. No one can do this for you, you must do it for yourself.  Following in the confession section is the prayer in Ephesians.  I urge you to pray it over yourself, the Pastors, the leadership of your church and your family.  It is praying God’s promises over you and that is vital to your growth and success.

Confession: I pray that the God of my Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him; The eyes of my understanding being enlightened; that I may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory in His inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power towards me as a believer, according to the working of His mighty power. Which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand  in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in that which is to come; And has put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church. Which is His body, the fullness of Him that fills all in all.      (Eph.1:17-23)
