Do Not Fear

 

Genesis 15:1  After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.''

 

Genesis 21:17  And God heard the voice of the lad. Then the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said to her, "What ails you, Hagar? Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is.

 

Genesis 26:24  And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said, "I am the God of your father Abraham; do not fear, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham's sake.''

 

Genesis 35:17  Now it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said to her, "Do not fear; you will have this son also.''

 

Genesis 43:23  But he said, "Peace be with you, do not be afraid. Your God and the God of your father has given you treasure in your sacks; I had your money.'' Then he brought Simeon out to them.

 

Genesis 46:3  And He said, "I am God, the God of your father; do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there.

 

Genesis 50:19  Joseph said to them, "Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God?

 

Genesis 50:21  "Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones.'' And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.

 

Exodus 14:13  And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.

 

Exodus 20:20  And Moses said to the people, "Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.''

 

Leviticus 26:6  I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid; I will rid the land of evil beasts, and the sword will not go through your land.

 

 

Deuteronomy 1:21  `Look, the Lord your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the Lord God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.'

 

Deuteronomy 1:29  "Then I said to you, `Do not be terrified, or be afraid of them.

  1. `The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes,
  2. `and in the wilderness where you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.' D

 

Deuteronomy 7:18  "you shall not be afraid of them, but you shall remember well what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt:

 

Deuteronomy 20:1  "When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the Lord your God is with you, who brought you up from the land of Egypt.

  1. "So it shall be, when you are on the verge of battle, that the priest shall approach and speak to the people.

3  "And he shall say to them, `Hear, O Israel: Today you are on the verge of battle with your enemies; do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them;

 

Deuteronomy 31:6  "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.''

7  Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, "Be strong and of good courage, for you must go with this people to the land which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall cause them to inherit it.

8  "And the Lord, He is the one who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.''

 

Joshua 1:9  "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.''

 

Joshua 8:1  Then the Lord said to Joshua: "Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; take all the people of war with you, and arise, go up to Ai. See, I have given into your hand the king of Ai, his people, his city, and his land.

 

Joshua 10:25  Then Joshua said to them, "Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; be strong and of good courage, for thus the Lord will do to all your enemies against whom you fight.''

 

Joshua 11:6  But the Lord said to Joshua, "Do not be afraid because of them, for tomorrow about this time I will deliver all of them slain before Israel. You shall hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire.''

 

Judges 4:18  And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said to him, "Turn aside, my lord, turn aside to me; do not fear.'' And when he had turned aside with her into the tent, she covered him with a blanket.

 

Judges 6:23  Then the Lord said to him, "Peace be with you; do not fear, you shall not die.''

 

Judges 7:3  "Now therefore, proclaim in the hearing of the people, saying, `Whoever is fearful and afraid, let him turn and depart at once from Mount Gilead.' '' And twenty-two thousand of the people returned, and ten thousand remained.

1 Kings 17:13  And Elijah said to her, "Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son.

 

2 Kings 6:16  So he answered, "Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.''

17  And Elisha prayed, and said, "Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.'' Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

 

2 Kings 19:6  And Isaiah said to them, "Thus you shall say to your master, `Thus says the Lord: "Do not be afraid of the words which you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed Me.

 

1 Chronicles 28:20  And David said to his son Solomon, "Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God my God will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.

 

2 Chronicles 20:15  and he said, "Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: `Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's.

2 Chronicles 32:7  "Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is with him; for there are more with us than with him.

 

Nehemiah 4:14  And I looked, and arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the people, "Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.''

Proverbs 3:24  When you lie down, you will not be afraid; yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.

  1. The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
  2. and if children, then heirs heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

 

Philippians 1:14  and most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my chains, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

 

 

2 Timothy 1:7  For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

 

Hebrews 2: 14.  Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

  1. and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
