Hidden Man of the Heart

 

1 Peter 3:4  But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

 

Ephesians 3:16  that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,

 

2 Corinthians 4:16  Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

 

Romans 2:28-29.  For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

 

Zechariah 12:1  The burden of the word of the Lord against Israel. Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him:

 

1 Corinthians 2:11  For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.

 

Proverbs 20:27  The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his heart.

 

Ecclesiastes 3:21  Who knows the spirit of the sons of men, which goes upward, and the spirit of the beast, which goes down to the earth?

Matthew 15:18  "But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.

Mark 4:15  "And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. And when they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.

Mark 12:30  `And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment.

 

Mark 12:33  "And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.''

 

Luke 6:45  "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

 

Luke 8:12  "Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes a

way the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

 

 

Luke 8:15  "But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.

 

Luke 10:27  So he answered and said, " `You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and `your neighbor as yourself.' ''

 

Luke 12:34  "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Acts 7:51  "You stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you.

Romans 2:15  who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them)

Romans 10:8  But what does it say? "The word is near you, even in your mouth and in your heart'' (that is, the word of faith which we preach):

Romans 10:9  that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

 

Romans 10:10  For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.

 

2 Corinthians 1:22  who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a deposit.

 

2 Corinthians 4:6  For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

 

2 Corinthians 9:7  So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

 

Galatians 4:6  And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!''

 

Ephesians 3:17  that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

 

Ephesians 4:18  having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their heart;

 

Ephesians 5:19  speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,

 

Philippians 4:7  and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

 

Colossians 3:15  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

 

Colossians 3:16  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

 

1 Thessalonians 3:13  so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

 

2 Thessalonians 3:5  Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.

 

1 Timothy 1:5  Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,

 

Hebrews 3:12  Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;

 

Hebrews 4:12  For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

 

Hebrews 8:10  "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel: After those days,'' says the Lord, "I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

 

Hebrews 10:16  "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,''

 

Hebrews 10:22  let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

 

Hebrews 13:9  Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.

 

James 4:8  Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

 

James 5:8  You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

 

1 Peter 1:22  Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,

 

1 Peter 3:15  But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

 

2 Peter 1:19  We also have the prophetic word made more sure, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;

 

1 John 3:19  And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.

 

1 John 3:20  For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

 

1 John 3:21  Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.

 

Revelation 2:23  "And I will kill her children with death. And all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.
