Genesis 1:26  Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.''

  1. So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

 

Genesis 3:15  And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.''

 

Genesis 8:21  And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His heart, "I will never again curse the ground for man's sake, although the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.

Psalms 37:37  Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace.

 

Psalms 39:5  Indeed, You have made my days as handbreadths, And my age is as nothing before You; Certainly every man at his best state is but vapor. Selah

Psalms 40:4  Blessed is that man who makes the Lord his trust, And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

  1. Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works Which You have done; And Your thoughts which are toward us Cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered.

 

Psalms 43:1  Vindicate me, O God, And plead my cause against an ungodly nation; Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!

 

Psalms 49:11  Their inner thought is that their houses will continue forever, And their dwelling places to all generations; They call their lands after their own names.

  3. I will praise You forever, Because You have done it; And in the presence of Your saints I will wait on Your name, for it is good.

 

Psalms 55:12  For it is not an enemy who reproaches me; Then I could bear it. Nor is it one who hates me who has magnified himself against me; Then I could hide from him.

Psalms 56:11  In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

Psalms 65:4  Blessed is the man whom You choose, And cause to approach You, That he may dwell in Your courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Of Your holy temple.

 

 Psalms 71:4  Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, Out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

 

Psalms 74:22  Arise, O God, plead Your own cause; Remember how the foolish man reproaches You daily.

 

Psalms 80:17  Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand, Upon the son of man whom You made strong for Yourself.

 

Psalms 84:5  Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.

Psalms 89:48  What man can live and not see death? Can he deliver his life from the power of the grave? Selah

 

Psalms 92:5  O Lord, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep.

  1. A senseless man does not know, Nor does a fool understand this.

 

Psalms 94:10  He who instructs the nations, shall He not correct, He who teaches man knowledge?

 

Psalms 94:11  The Lord knows the thoughts of man, That they are futile.

  1. Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord, And teach out of Your law,
  2. That You may give him rest from the days of adversity, Until the pit is dug for the wicked.
  3. For the Lord will not cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance.

 

Psalms 103:15  As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.

 

Psalms 108:11  Is it not You, O God, who cast us off? And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies?

  1. Give us help from trouble, For vain is the help of man.
  2. Through God we will do valiantly, For it is He who shall tread down our enemies.

 

Psalms 112:1  Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

 

Psalms 112:5  A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with discretion.

  1. Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.
  2. He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
  3. His heart is established; He will not be afraid, Until he sees his desire upon his enemies.
  4. He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted with honor.
  5. The wicked will see it and be grieved; He will gnash his teeth and melt away; The desire of the wicked shall perish.

 

Psalms 118:6  The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?

  1. The Lord is for me among those who help me; Therefore I shall see my desire on those who hate me.
  2. It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man.
  3. It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in princes.

 

 

Psalms 119:9  How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.

 

Psalms 119:134  Redeem me from the oppression of man, That I may keep Your precepts.

 

Psalms 127:3.  Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is His reward.

  1. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth.
  2. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.

 

Psalms 128:4  Behold, thus shall the man be blessed Who fears the Lord.

 

Psalms 144:3  Lord, what is man, that You take knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that You are mindful of him?

  1. Man is like a breath; His days are like a passing shadow.

 

Psalms 146:3  Do not put your trust in princes, Nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help.

 

Proverbs 1:2.  To know wisdom and instruction, to perceive the words of understanding,

  1. to receive the instruction of wisdom, Justice, judgment, and equity;
  2. to give prudence to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion
  3. A wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel,
